Hello friends,

I have been very offline the last couple of weeks to deal with a serious family crisis/emergency. I haven’t had the space or time to create anything new, so this week I’d like to share (what I think is) a fun video from my archives.

Whether people place great faith in conspiracy theories or reject them outright, there is one that permeates people’s consciousness more than any other. In my view, this ‘conspiracy theory’ also causes more harm than any other. This video from 2023 explores the topic in my usual bait-and-switch style.

I look forward to posting new content after I have taken a little more time to care for myself and my family and reground. On that note, I sincerely hate asking for financial support for my work because I don’t do it for money and never have (if that were the case, I’d take much more popular and mainstream positions). A team of Penn State computer scientists has cooked up a chilling new way to eavesdrop: detecting the microscopic vibrations your smartphone gives off during a call and translating them into words using artificial intelligence.

The method relies on millimeter-wave radar, the same high-frequency tech powering self-driving car sensors, motion detectors, and 5G networks. Aim it at a phone and it can capture the subtle tremors from the earpiece when someone is speaking. These vibrations are invisible to the naked eye but, with the right tools, can become a transcript of your conversation.

The radar data is run through a modified version of Whisper, an AI speech-recognition model originally designed for clean audio. Instead of retraining the whole system, the team used a low-rank adaptation trick to tweak just 1% of the model’s parameters – enough to boost performance without starting from scratch.

Over recent months I have been writing a lot about our belonging both to nature and to the living organism that is the cosmos.

I have described some of the ways in which humans have traditionally expressed their awareness of this belonging and how we can sometimes make ourselves receptive to guidance and messages from the Whole, via what is essentially its nervous system.

I went on to describe how “civilized” human cultures have progressively lost that awareness, and therefore that guidance, initially because of organised religions that reject belonging in favour of domination and deny natural law in favour of their own manufactured dogma.

These religions not only regard nature as dead matter, as a mere resource to be exploited, but also consider their own in-group to have been chosen by God and thus to be superior to the rest of humankind.

Unfortunately, these naive and erroneous conclusions about ourselves, we draw during our childhood when we are innocent, malleable, and naive enough to gullibly believe our abusers; that we are somehow worthy of the abuse, hate, humiliation, and distrust with which abusers burden us.

I love and admire my nieces. The other day, they were visiting. The little one (10), with a reputation for being active and clumsy, and with a tendency to break things, demonstrated a profound interest in my guitar. She asked to play with it. So, I let her experiment with it as long as she wanted, even when I wasn’t present to watch over her like a helicopter parent. She was more interested in the aesthetic of the guitar than actually learning, so she just purposelessly strummed the strings and roleplayed with it. It gave her joy, so it gave me joy. Afterwards, her father (my brother) made fun of me for entrusting a child with my guitar, insinuating that I was being reckless, since I supposedly knew her to be a walking disaster. A delicate acoustic guitar would not be beyond her capacity to dismantle, right?

Social Justice, Destruction of Property Rights, and Government Tyranny (Part One)

You are a poor minority living in a government housing project called “Affordable.” It’s all paid for by the tax dollars of mostly middle-income Americans. Included are still more government programs that are providing monthly checks and coupons to supply food, free healthcare, free education, and let’s also throw in free cell phones.

Does that not make us a generous nation? Are not the poor well cared for and satisfied? Aren’t the taxpayers proud of their contribution to the common good? The answer to every one of these questions is NO!

First, consider these facts about that stipend income from the welfare check. Originally, it was called “assistance” and the purpose was to help out when the paycheck wasn’t quite covering needs during difficult times. Over time the system changed from “assistance” to “Government Benefit.” Now it’s an entire system of total dependence. While promises to help provide job training and even some actual jobs exist, few actually provide enough income or security to allow recipients to leave the program. In addition, if a recipient even tries to put some of that money away in savings, as an attempt to provide for an emergency, it is confiscated and possibly the welfare check stops all together. It’s no longer “assistance” during hard times. Now it’s control.

U.S Navy’s 1st fully autonomous ship takes the Port of Everett waters

The Trump administration’s claim that it is saving billions of dollars through DOGE-related cuts to federal contracts is drastically exaggerated, according to a new POLITICO analysis of public data and federal spending records.

Through July, DOGE said it has saved taxpayers $52.8 billion by canceling contracts, but of the $32.7 billion in actual claimed contract savings that POLITICO could verify, DOGE’s savings over that period were closer to $1.4 billion.

Despite the administration’s claims, not a single one of those 1.4 billion dollars will lower the federal deficit unless Congress steps in. Instead, the money has been returned to agencies mandated by law to spend it.

DOGE’s latest figures on contract cuts ticked up to $54.2 billion in an update posted on Tuesday.

POLITICO’s findings come on top of months of scrutiny of DOGE’s accounting, but the magnitude of DOGE’s inflated savings claims has not been clear until now.

CDC Hit With Lawsuit Over Failure to Test Cumulative Effect of 72-Dose Childhood Vaccine Schedule

Two doctors who lost their medical licenses because they questioned the CDC’s vaccine recommendations for children are suing the agency for failing to test the cumulative effect of the 72-dose schedule on children’s health.

Drs. Paul Thomas and Kenneth P. Stoller and Stand for Health Freedom filed the lawsuit last week in federal court, alleging the lack of safety testing violates federal law and children’s constitutional rights.

The lawsuit names Susan Monarez, Ph.D., in her official capacity as director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Attorney Rick Jaffe, who represents the plaintiffs, said the lawsuit “goes to the heart of the CDC’s childhood immunization program — a 72-plus dose medical intervention schedule that has never been tested.”

Stop using the words “anarchy” & “capitalism”

The words “anarchy” and “capitalism” don’t mean anything anymore. We can appeal to their etymology or definition all we want, but the fact remains that they mean vastly different things to so many different people. This makes it impossible to communicate what you truly want to communicate whenever you use them.

These words carry such subjective, arbitrary, and fluid meaning that any attribute can be assigned to them at any given time, making their use an inevitable straw man every time.

This makes these words completely useless. Using them is not only meaningless, but it is also dangerous, and does you a disservice in your attempts to communicate your message or cause.

The words “anarchy” and “capitalism” are the most twisted, loaded with conflicting meanings, terms in existence. And this is by design, as they have been infected with statist/socialist propaganda.

This is the #1 thing that everyone should do to truly know what you are eating and stay away from ultra-processed food chemicals.

Yet, many big restaurant chains don’t publish their ingredients online and some will flat-out refuse to tell you what’s in their food if you ask.

Some chains will eventually provide ingredients privately to you if you call and pester them to death… but most customers don’t have that kind of tenacity.

This is not only maddening, but very unethical.

Currently, the U.S. government doesn’t require restaurants to disclose full ingredient information (only allergen info), so they are given a free pass to hide their ultra-processed ingredients from consumers and leave us completely in the dark…

Well, here we go again… another lawsuit filed against the CDC. At first glance, some may think, “Peggy, this is fantastic news!” After all, Stand for Health Freedom, along with Doctors Paul Thomas and Kenneth Stoller, are suing the CDC for failing to study the cumulative effects of its 72+ dose vaccine schedule on children.

And yes, many well-meaning people are applauding this. But let me explain why this lawsuit is not a victory—it’s actually the wrong approach entirely.

This lawsuit demands more testing—which means more experiments on infants, more shots into more babies, and more profits funneled directly into Big Pharma’s pockets. Instead of challenging the CDC to take harmful products off the market, it strengthens their position by insisting they conduct even more studies.

That is completely backward. The lawsuit we need is one demanding the immediate removal of these unsafe products—not more studies that only legitimize them further.

Israeli Military To Call Up 60,000 Reservists as It Prepares for Gaza City Ethnic Cleansing Campaign

About 60,000 Israeli reservists will receive call-up orders that the Israeli military will issue tomorrow as it’s preparing for a major offensive on Gaza City, The Times of Israel reported on Tuesday.

The report said that reservists will have two weeks before they need to report for duty and that not all of them will take part in the offensive on Gaza City since some will replace IDF troops deployed in other areas of Gaza.

The Israeli military’s plans to take over Gaza City involve the ethnic cleansing of over 1 million Palestinian civilians from the area. Since civilians are expected to remain in the city after evacuation orders, the IDF is prepared to use artillery strikes as its means of forcibly moving them, according to Haaretz.

While the IDF hasn’t yet launched its ground offensive, it has ramped up strikes on Gaza City in recent weeks with a focus on the eastern Zeitoun neighborhood. Thousands of Palestinians have already fled the area, and an investigation from Al Jazeera found that many of the Israeli attacks were hitting displacement shelters.

DEVELOPING: FBI Raids John Bolton’s House

Shortly before 7:00 a.m. Friday morning, the FBI and Montgomery County police were seen at the Bethesda home of John Bolton, who served as national security advisor for part of Donald Trump’s first term. Montgomery County police sealed off the street on which Bolton lives while an unmarked black SUV parked in front of Bolton’s house. Montgomery County police confirmed that they were on site in support of the FBI.

Following THE BULWARK’S initial reporting, Rupert Murdoch’s New York Post reported the FBI had conducted a “raid” at 7:12 a.m.

Bolton was the target of an investigation at the end of Trump’s first term for allegedly disclosing classified information in his 2020 memoir, The Room Where It Happened.

Trump Provokes War with Venezuela, Sends Warships and Marines Under Pretext of Stopping Drug Trafficking

US Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt claimed that Venezuelan President Maduro is not a legitimate president and is exporting drugs. She said that the US is prepared to use every element of American power to halt drug flows. Trump has mobilized three destroyers and 4,000 Marines going towards Venezuela right now. However, Venezuela is not a threat to the US.

President Maduro announced a plan to mobilize 4.5 million militia members across the country.

Trump’s incursion is about the oil. At a campaign rally in 2024, Trump declared that he wanted to steal Venezuela’s oil. He said, “When I left, Venezuela was ready to collapse. We would have taken it over. We would have gotten all that oil. It would have been right next door. We would have taken over Venezuela. We would have gotten all their oil.”

Loudoun County Schools Suspend Boys Who Didn’t Want Girl in Locker Room

Virginia’s Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) is suspending two high-school boys after a “transgender” student secretly videorecorded them in the boys’ locker room questioning why she was there.

WJLA reported Monday:

LCPS’s Title IX Office launched an investigation based on that video and the male-identifying student’s complaint. That office has now determined the two boys are responsible for sexual harassment and sex-based discrimination, according to attorney, Josh Hetzler, who represents the families.

Hetzler said they were notified by LCPS Friday evening.

The punishment includes ten days of suspension and a no-contact order with the complainant, including not being able to be in any of the same classes. The boys are also required to meet with school administrators to determine a corrective action plan, according to Hetzler.
