Fivememefri – The American Academy of Pediatrics: Mining Children for Profit

PLUS Derrick Broze’s The Pyramid of Power is now streaming… on CiVL!

Dear Subscribers,

Short message this week. It took me a couple of weeks to dig myself out after our drives around the United States and Florida in June and July and the avalanche of book orders from the Corbett Report (and their attendant shipping issues to 20+ countries, customer service issues, and getting Amazon resupplied after selling out twice!) BUT… I can see the light at the end of the tunnel…

I am stationary and ready to get back to work on my upcoming book: Voluntaryism! I expect to begin dropping articles on the Substack starting next week! Feels good to be writing again!

Etienne Note: One of the metaphors in “The Matrix” was how hard it is to free one single mind from the (Propaganda) Matrix. Think about all the effort that went into freeing just Neo. There are essentially two groups of people on the planet.

1. Those who understand that information about what is really going on (9-11, “The Covid,” the complete illegitimacy of “government,” the harmfulness of “vaccines” etc.) is being censored and controlled by a monopoly media system that includes the algorithmic censorship of the DARPA Internet AND 2. Those that don’t OR pretend not to understand to keep their jobs OR those who remain willfully ignorant because they don’t have the mental fortitude to deal with reality of the situation.

Once again, the American police state is choosing to protect predators, not victims.

Jeffrey Epstein—the hedge fund billionaire/convicted serial pedophile and sex trafficker—may be dead, but the machinery that empowered and protected him is still very much alive.

You see, the Epstein case was never just about Epstein—it was about the entire edifice of power that shields the ruling class, silences victims, and erases accountability.

Jeffrey Epstein was secretly working with the U.S. government, according to bombshell documents obtained by RadarOnline.com.

The late tycoon and pedophile, who died in jail in 2019 aged 66 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, was “more than just protected – he was a puppet, informant and spy for the FBI,” added an intelligence agency source.

A 2008 internal file obtained through a successful Freedom of Information Act lawsuit show Epstein was operating as an FBI informant prior to his now-infamous 2007 sweetheart plea deal.

Suffer Little Children — Poisoned by Pesticides and Damaged by Ultra-Processed Foods

by Colin Todhunter, off-guardian.org

Baskut Tuncak is a prominent expert and advocate in the field of human rights and environmental law. He has served as the United Nations Special Rapporteur on human rights and hazardous substances and wastes, where he highlighted the human rights impacts of pollution, toxic chemicals, and hazardous waste on vulnerable populations, including children.

He stated ina November 2017 article:

Our children are growing up exposed to a toxic cocktail of weedkillers, insecticides, and fungicides. It’s on their food and in their water, and it’s even doused over their parks and playgrounds.”

In February 2020, Tuncak rejected the idea that the risks posed by highly hazardous pesticides could be managed safely. He told Unearthed (Greenpeace UK’s journalism website) that there is nothing sustainable about the widespread use of highly hazardous pesticides for agriculture.

“Oh Canada!” Trump Threatens To Blow Up Trade Talks As Carney To Recognize Palestinian State

by Zen Honeycutt

As Bayer pays millions to lobbyists and lawyers to convince American elected officials that foreign agrochemical companies should enjoy complete immunity from lawsuits, consumer activists raise the alarm about glyphosate and 85 pesticides that have been banned in other countries, 84% of which cause reproductive harm, that this immunity shield would cover.

Moms Across America releases shocking new lab results revealing widespread glyphosate contamination in popular U.S. breakfast cereals, including certified organic brands that consumers trust to be pesticide-free. Fourteen samples of American cereal were sent to be tested with the hopes of identifying cereals that are safe to consume. Moms Across America supporters, MAHA Action, and the Centner Academy supported the testing. The findings raise serious concerns about contamination in the food supply and highlight the urgent need for stronger regulations, accountability, increased testing, and a global ban on the carcinogenic and endocrine-disrupting herbicide, glyphosate.

Speaking The Language of Plants Through Narrowband Light

by Take Back Our Tech

In a world where most food is grown — and even genetically altered — for shelf life rather than nourishment, today’s story brings a breath of fresh air… or rather, fresh light.

Symbiotic Systems, founded by Paul Bhola, is changing the game in indoor farming with a breakthrough in narrowband LED technology. Unlike traditional white LEDs used in grow operations, which focus mostly on light intensity, this approach uses specific wavelengths of light that plants actually respond to. Think of it as speaking a plant’s native language — instead of shouting the entire light spectrum.

“Plants don’t just need light. They need the right signals at the right time. What we are doing is providing them with a language they understand,” says Bhola.

And plants are clearly listening. In a recent study, crops grown under Symbiotic Systems’ LEDs showed a fivefold increase in beta-caryophyllene, a potent medicinal compound found in basil and cannabis. Each plant responds to different light cues, so this tech can be optimized by wavelength to encourage faster growth, greater resilience, and enhanced nutritional value.

Mysterious Orange Figure Spotted Outside Jeffrey Epstein’s Cell Night Before His Death: Report

by Tyler Durden

The pixelated shape, first witnessed by CBS News, is seen shifting towards Epstein’s cell block at the Metropolitan Correctional Center around 10:40 p.m. According to federal investigators, the object was a corrections officer “carrying linen or inmate clothing.” However, experts told CBS News that it could in fact be an inmate wearing a jumpsuit.

Based on the limited video, it’s more likely a person in an [orange] uniform,” Conor McCourt, forensic video expert, said in a statement to CBS.

“To say that there’s no way that someone could get to that, the stairs up to his room, without being seen is false,” Jim Safford, another forensic expert, told the news network.

Jeffrey Epstein was discovered deceased in his cell on August 10, 2019. An official autopsy, corroborated by a joint investigation from the Department of Justice and FBI, concluded that the disgraced financier died by suicide through hanging.

Trump’s EPA Fights Court Ruling on Fluoride’s Harms

by Veronika Kyrylenko

The Trump administration’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) continues a major legal battle that began nearly 10 years ago. Earlier this month, the EPA officially filed an appeal against a federal court ruling that found that fluoride in drinking water poses a risk to children’s brain development.

The case, originally filed by parents and the Fluoride Action Network (FAN), challenged the EPA’s 2016 decision to reject a petition under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). That petition sought a ban on adding fluoride to public drinking water due to health concerns.

Now, the unconstitutional agency has chosen to press forward with the appeal first initiated in the final days of the Biden administration.

In September 2024, U.S. District Judge Edward Chen ruled that the fluoridation of water at the standard level of 0.7 milligrams per liter “poses an unreasonable risk of reduced IQ in children.”

PayPal to let U.S. merchants accept payment in more than 100 cryptocurrencies

by Tyler Durden

Via Brian McGlinchey at Stark Realities

When asked how far the US government has plunged into the red, many fiscally-conscious Americans will tell you the national debt has reached $37 trillion. As distressing as that official number is, America’s true fiscal situation is even worse — far worse. According to a barely-publicized Treasury report, the actual grand total of Uncle Sam’s obligations is more than $151 trillion.

That huge discrepancy springs from the fact that the federal government doesn’t hold itself to the same accounting standards it imposes on businesses. Rather than using accrual accounting — which recognizes expenses when they’re incurred — our Washington overlords self-servingly use simple cash accounting, only recognizing expenses when they’re paid. As a result, discourse on federal obligations solely focuses on the national debt, comprising Treasury bills, notes and bonds.

Boy, 14, fell in love with ‘Game of Thrones’ chatbot — then killed himself after AI app told him to ‘come home’ to ‘her’: mom

By Emily Crane

A 14-year-old Florida boy killed himself after a lifelike “Game of Thrones” chatbot he’d been messaging for months on an artificial intelligence app sent him an eerie message telling him to “come home” to her, a new lawsuit filed by his grief-stricken mom claims.

Sewell Setzer III committed suicide at his Orlando home in February after becoming obsessed and allegedly falling in love with the chatbot on Character.AI — a role-playing app that lets users engage with AI-generated characters, according to court papers filed Wednesday.

The ninth-grader had been relentlessly engaging with the bot “Dany” — named after the HBO fantasy series’ Daenerys Targaryen character — in the months prior to his death, including several chats that were sexually charged in nature and others where he expressed suicidal thoughts, the suit alleges.

What To Know About 7-OH, The Synthetic Opioid Derived From Kratom Facing An FDA Ban

by Tyler Durden, Authored by Savannah Hulsey Pointer via The Epoch Times

A synthetic opioid derived from the kratom plant sold in gummies, tablets, and drink mixes is slated to be restricted because of concerns that it has a serious potential for abuse.

The compound is called 7-hydroxymitragynine, commonly known as 7-OH. It occurs naturally in trace amounts in kratom. Products containing 7-OH have potentially dangerous, enhanced levels and are not approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced the recommendation on June 29, stating that the 7-OH should be scheduled under the Controlled Substances Act because of its ability to bind to opioid receptors, which makes it a pain reliever that can be more powerful than morphine.

HHS noted that it is focused on a concentrated byproduct of the kratom plant and not natural kratom products.

Here’s what to know about the synthetic opioid.

YFQ-44A Unmanned Jets Will Fly With the F-47 Sixth Generation Fighter

The US Air force is making YFQ-42A and YFQ-44A unmanned jets that will fly with the F-47 sixth generation fighter. There will be about five drones for each

by Brian Wang, nextbigfuture.com

The US Air force is making YFQ-42A and YFQ-44A unmanned jets that will fly with the F-47 sixth generation fighter. There will be about five drones for each F-47 fighter. Over 1,000 of the unmanned aircraft are planned. the unmanned jets will start operating first from 2025-2029 while the F-47 will start prototype flights in 2027. The YFQ-42A and YFQ-44A and F-47 systems will be built and designed to work together. The NGAD program is an overall plan for manned and unmanned aircraft, rather than a specific individual aircraft.

These aircraft, from Increment 1 of the Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) contract, are designed to work closely in tandem with sixth generation aircraft like the F-47 in order to provide force multiplication with additional payload capacity, sensor picket capabilities, and decoy missions.

Police nationwide are embracing a new first responder: Drones

by Marie-Rose Sheinerman

In dozens of U.S. cities, the next time you call 911, a drone might show up before an officer does.

The technology behind that — “Drone as First Responder,” or DFR — has skyrocketed in popularity among police departments nationwide since the Federal Aviation Administration streamlined the process for agencies to adopt the program this spring. While it could previously take up to a year to get approval, it now often takes just days.Law enforcement and drone industry leaders praise the technology as lifesaving, with the potential to help authorities in situations ranging from missing persons cases to active shooter incidents. But critics worry the programs encourage mass surveillance and violate the public’s privacy.

“When you have a camera in the sky that can see things that police officers can’t normally see, that offers a huge potential for privacy invasion,” said Beryl Lipton, a senior researcher with the Electronic Frontier Foundation, a digital rights group.

Aging Spreads Through The Body Like An Infection, And This Protein Could Be To Blame

By StudyFinds Analysis, Reviewed by Steve Fink

Abstract representation of aging (senescent) cells, depicting the gradual decline and transformation of biological structures over time, symbolizing the natural process of cellular deterioration and renewal. (© dang – stock.adobe.com)

Aging may spread through the body via a protein called HMGB1, which sends pro-aging signals between cells—depending on its chemical state.

Only the “reduced” form of HMGB1 triggers aging, causing healthy cells to stop dividing and release inflammatory molecules.

Injecting this protein into mice induced signs of aging, while blocking it improved healing and physical performance in older animals.

The findings suggest new paths for anti-aging treatments, including drugs that block HMGB1 or its downstream effects.

SEOUL, South Korea — Researchers have identified a molecular culprit behind one of biology’s most puzzling phenomena: how cellular aging spreads from one part of the body to another, potentially accelerating the overall aging process.

The Boomer Mirage

by Joshua Stylman

I saw this chart making the rounds on Twitter this week, and it stopped me cold. While the specific figures combine data from multiple sources, the trend is undeniable: in 1950, over half of 30-year-olds were married homeowners. By 2025, some analysts project that number as low as 13%.

That’s not a societal transformation. It’s not an economic fluke. It’s the visible outcome of an invisible strategy—one that extracted everything it could from a three-generation arc and left only illusions in its place.

They’ll tell you people just choose differently now—that marriage rates fell because of changing values. But people can’t choose what they can’t afford. When the economic foundation for family formation disappears, cultural changes follow inevitably. That chart doesn’t show us changing values or new priorities. It shows systemic breakdown, disguised for decades as freedom.

DARPA’s Theory of Mind Warfare

by Matt Smith

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has an initiative called the Theory of Mind program. This effort is designed to give national security decision-makers the ability to model, simulate, and ultimately anticipate the intentions and behaviors of adversaries using a combination of advanced algorithms and human expertise.

At its core, the program aims to:

Build algorithmic models that “decompose” adversary strategies into elemental behaviors.

Use massive data—signals intelligence, open-source information, even social media—to create high-fidelity “avatars” of enemy decision-makers.

Simulate possible responses to a range of U.S. and allied actions, exploring which ones best deter, incentivize, or nudge adversaries toward preferred outcomes.

Integrate insights from psychological profiling and machine learning to continually update these models as real-world conditions shift.

Fed a Lie — The Truth About Seed Oils

by Dr. Joseph Mercola

Ultraprocessed vegetable oils have quietly become one of the most dominant and pernicious ingredients in the modern diet. They have driven a dramatic rise in linoleic acid (LA) intake over the past century

The documentary, “Fed a Lie: The Truth About Seed Oils,” reveals how marketing, subsidies, and flawed science replaced traditional animal fats with industrially produced oils made from soy, corn, cottonseed, and other crops

Clinical and epidemiological studies have linked seed oil consumption to increased oxidative stress, inflammation, mitochondrial damage, cancer risk, and cardiovascular dysfunction, despite being touted as “healthy” fats

Ancestral populations thrived on diets rich in saturated fat but free from processed seed oils. This allowed them low rates of chronic disease, even with widely varying macronutrient profiles

Who’s Responsible When No One’s Responsible for Driving?

By eric

Tesla has just been found liable for the death of one person and the severe injury of another after one of its “self driving” cars ran over and killed a couple back in 2019. Twenty-two-year-old Naibel Benavides Leon and her boyfriend, Dillon Angulo, were out watching the night sky by the side of the road when the “self-driving” Tesla ran them down, killing Leon and almost killing Angulo. A Florida jury has ordered Tesla to pay the victims $243 million in damages.

There are several interesting things about the case, the first thing being that – somehow – Tesla “lost” the video recording of the crash and also the data stream recorded by the car. A “mistake” was made, Tesla claimed. The same kind of mistake that was made the night Epstein didn’t kill himself, probably.

The more interesting thing, however, is the liability precedent that has – at last – been set. Tesla has until now wriggled out of liability for the other crashes that have happened when a “self-driving” Tesla ran into something or someone by pointing out that it has always made it clear that the driver must “pay constant attention” and “be prepared to act immediately” at all times when the self-driving system is engaged – so as to be able to apply the brakes or steer when the tech fails to recognize/react to another vehicle (or person) in the path of the vehicle.

Quick Take…Are Digital IDs coming piecemeal?

by Kit Knightly

I’m starting to think a full-scale, nationwide compulsory digital ID won’t ever be a thing. Not officially, anyway. Not for quite a while.

It’s a vibe I feel coming off the news that gels more with the current methodology – the indirect authoritarianism of the easier path. Piecemeal tyranny washed in on waves of convenience.

According to a 2023 report (which resurfaced last week for some reason), in the near future, British citizens will likely need electronic “Carbon Passports” to travel. These will be digital documents that track and limit your travel based on carbon emissions.

During Covid, digital “vaccine passes” were needed to differentiate those who had been vaccinated from those who had not. If and when another “pandemic” rolls around, they will be used again.

From the end of this year, British driver’s licenses will be digital and accessed through the government’s wallet app. In the future, your road tax will be paid via GPS tracking of your car, linked to your driver’s license.

Robot skin’ beats human reflexes, transforms grip with fabric-powered touch

by Aamir Khollam

Robots have become remarkably advanced, capable of executing complex tasks with impressive accuracy, speed, and coordination. Yet, despite these leaps, they often struggle with something fundamental like sensing and responding to touch.

That limitation may soon change.

A team from the University at Buffalo has developed an electronic textile (E-textile) that mimics how human skin senses pressure, slippage, and movement.

This innovation enables robotic fingers to react in real time, tightening or loosening grip as needed, a significant upgrade in dexterity.

The breakthrough could transform how robots interact with physical objects in collaborative environments like manufacturing, surgery, and prosthetics.

It represents a notable step toward more sensitive and responsive machines, especially in settings that demand fine motor control.

Mapped: Speeding Ticket Costs by State

Etienne Note: It obviously isn’t about the speeding. It is about raising revenue on the tax slaves for what is a victimless crime. In a voluntaryist world, road owners would have no incentive to keep speeds low to maximize fines and fees. They would be interested in having the fastest flowing traffic possible. “Government” is the worst way to organize society, where all the incentives are wrong.

California has the highest minimum speeding ticket cost at $234, followed closely by Arizona ($231), Nevada ($223), and Texas ($223).

The American Academy of Pediatrics: Mining Children for Profit

by David Bel, Brownstone Institute

American healthcare is currently providing us with an excellent lesson in what capitalism looks like in the absence of a moral framework. The biggest losers are America’s children.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the major professional association of North American pediatricians, has overseen the rising rates of chronic illness and medicating of American children over recent decades. With 67,000 members in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, AAP distinguished itself during Covid-19 for its strident insistence that children’s faces should be covered and they should be injected with modified RNA vaccines, despite knowing from early 2020 that severe Covid-19 was very rare in healthy children.

Funded by sources including Moderna, Merck, Sanofi, GSK, Eli Lilly, and other pharmaceutical companies, the AAP’s members are the cornerstone of the rapidly increasing pediatric pharma market in North America – by far greater than any other region. As a professional organization dedicated to ensuring income for its members, the AAP is like any similar professional association or union and acts in this manner.

Why Britain Arrests 30 People EVERY DAY For Speech

by Steve Watson, modernity.news

In this engaging Triggernometry interview, Lord Toby Young, founder of the Free Speech Union, discusses the UK’s Online Safety Act and its implications for free speech.

He traces the Act’s origins to a moral panic over children’s exposure to harmful online content like self-harm sites and pornography, initially introduced under Theresa May’s government and expanded under Boris Johnson.

Young criticizes it as overly broad, leading to excessive content removal by platforms fearing massive fines or jail time for executives. He highlights how it has resulted in age-gating innocuous material, such as speeches on grooming gangs or historical blog posts, under the guise of child protection, while failing to include robust free speech safeguards.

Young argues this creates a chilling effect, with companies over-censoring to comply, and expresses concern that the Labour government, under figures like Peter Kyle, will strengthen it further rather than repeal it.

Truth Music of the Week

United Health by Jesse Welles

there’s an office in a building
and a person in a chair
and you paid for em both
though you may be unaware

you paid for the paper
you paid for the phone
you paid for everything they need
to deny u wut yer owed

there aint no u in united health
there aint no me in the company
there aint no us in the private trust
there’s hardly humans in humanity

no the procedure that yer needing
aint the cost effective route
and only two percent of people
end up winnin a dispute

so if u get sick
pray to god for help
cause yer doctor’s gotta pray thru
united health

waay back in 70 and 7
mr richard t burke
started buyin hmo’s
puttin federal grants to work

made 50 billion buckaroos
last yr
the warren buffet of health
the jeff bezos of fear

now ceo’s come and go
and one jus went
the ingredients ya got
bake the cake ya get

but if u get sick
cross yer fingers fer luck
cus ole richard t burke
aint givin a fuck

commoditized health
monopolized fraud
“here’s the doctors we own”
“here’s the research we bought”

they own the pharmacies
and alotta the meds
they should start buying graves
to sell us when we’re all dead

Explore Sark: A Rare Opportunity to Experience Self-Governance Up Close

Investor and long-time Sark resident Swen Lorenz is hosting an exclusive tour of the Isle of Sark: a self-governing Crown Dependency in the English Channel that offers a return to a simpler, freer way of life, wrapped in the charm of the traditional British Isles.

With no cars, stunning natural beauty, and a tight-knit community of around 450 people, Sark is a world apart.

For those who favour minimal bureaucracy and a streamlined relationship with government, Sark holds special appeal. Its uniquely simple tax system — a one-page return with no income tax or VAT — has been described as a libertarian’s dream.

This curated weekend, taking place September 25–28 and limited to just 50 guests, includes gourmet dinners, a local gin tasting, scenic hikes, clay pigeon shooting and meaningful networking with like-minded thinkers.

Whether you’re exploring relocation, investment, or simply seeking a unique experience, this is your chance to discover this unique self-governing island.

The weekend is run at cost, priced at £1,150 per person. Download the brochure with more information here: Sark Weekend Brochure (PDF) and contact Swen at:sw**@****************es.com.
